♡ OOTN // Red, Floral & Velvet
hello babes!
hope you all are doing amazing! I have a lot of fashion posts lined up.. literally. I shot many different styles the other day and I shall be putting up them up one by one! Just that, I got a little sick a few days ago after a night out with friends playing pool lol so just been relaxing. I am feeling better today so I was like why not put up a fashion post.
This outfit is stylish and extraaaaa but not too extra so you can wear it to work as well. I paired a roaring red floral blouse with a velvet bow with these classic denim jeans by Ann Taylor with the side slits at the ankle. The top is super comfortable and gorgeous!! It will make any outfit stand out. I loved the velvet bow which is the main reason why I bought this top, it just gave it such a good vibe with the floral print on the blouse. The sleeves cuff at the the wrists which make the sleeves more puffy.. if you know what I mean lol! I duno bout' you but it just looked so vintage with the floral print & velvet bow.
The jeans are really comfortable as well, they shape your silhouette perfectly! I loved the side slits on the ankle, it gives you a subtle look with the blouse. You don't want to go really extra with the bottoms when the top is loud, but the slits on the ankle just add an extra touch to your outfit without going overboard. For the shoes, I went with these navy blue velvet loafers by ann taylor as well, who says you can't do velvet on velvet ;) The velvet loafers with a bow completed the look, giving you a complete vintage floral outfit that will look good on a day at work or an evening out with friends or in between your day when you're going shopping with the pals!
When I had gotten this top, I wasn't sure at first how I was going to style it but when I bought these jeans, I was like eureeeeekaaaa!!!! I know what I am gunaa do! I had bought the jeans & loafers both in-store and they're all part of the new collection at Ann Taylor so you can get them right now if you like them! They are also available online, there will be a price difference since the online website is American and in store it is Canadian. Never the less, not much of a price difference and they are worth every penny, the quality is amazing! You get what you pay for at the end of the day :) I didn't pair any jewelry with this outfit since I wanted the main focus to be the top itself, however, you can pair some studs or some midi rings if you'd like but that's all I would say for jewelry.
